meet the ARTIST / TEACHER - SETH WEST
Seth West is a glassblower, artist, and educator who served for 10 years as founder, director, and lead instructor of The Cambridge Glass School, Boston’s first public glassblowing school.
Seth is an experienced glassblower and enjoys teaching people the mysterious, inner-workings of hot glass.
With many moons of hands-on experience, Seth brings a deep understanding of glass, design, and process to his teaching, guiding students through both the technical and creative aspects of glassblowing.
He emphasizes hands-on learning, creative confidence, and respect for the material. He enjoys helping students understand not just how glass moves and behaves, but how to develop their own voice through the process.
