Maitreya Buddha tantrik totem is a devotional sculpture/icon/painting.
Maitreya is venerated in a simple cloth shrine, ecstatic with light, poised majestically above a scrying pool.
Created in the spirit of sacred buddhist art as well the sculptors Red Grooms, Do Ho Suh and Seattles’ William Morris.
Many Buddhists and Hindus believe that the more perfect the representation of dieties in the artwork, the more pure the devotion.
